We are currently seeking an experienced Telecom or Managed IT marketing professional to fill a remote position as Vice President of Marketing for our Cooperative located in Cloverdale, IN. You will be required to be at the office in a day’s notice if needed.

In this key leadership role as Vice President of Marketing, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the brand’s marketing campaigns and operations along with leading an existing team of marketing specialists. You will be responsible for creating and executing innovative marketing strategies that increase revenue and grow the 3 distinct brand(s) for Internet, UCaaS/CCaaS and Managed IT services – as well as developing and implementing a national marketing/branding strategy for our new sub company www.gigtel.com. The ideal candidate is an accomplished Director or VP of Marketing with a bias for hands-on, growth-focused leadership in the development and execution of innovative, successful marketing campaigns and programs across the continuum of today’s marketing channels. This position reports to the EVP of Sales and Marketing.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and enhance brand recognition of the organization’s products and services for 3 core business units
  • Works closely with EVP of Sales and Marketing to define, implement, and manage the marketing strategies for optimal results
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to determine key differentiators
  • Build, develop, and leverage relationships with industry media to evangelize the organizations brands, mission, and movement in the market
  • Work with internal stakeholders to plan, create, and launch creative campaigns and compelling stories around announcements and initiatives that resonate with audiences
  • Lead customer-centric thinking and create programs to meet those target markets
  • Establish goals and create strategy for meeting marketing deliverable and metrics

 

 

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in marketing or related discipline
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in Telecommunications or Managed IT Services required
  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience required – includes hiring, firing, coaching and training
  • Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • Experience in new product development and building brand awareness and recognition initiatives nationally
  • Reputable marketing leader and an effective public speaker
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • Creative and innovative
  • Customer-centric and can identify and meet customer needs
  • Experience working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are in line with company objectives
  • Metric driven having the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
